This tournament will be held on the DX version of the game!
Remember, using Battle Rooms is the best way ensure that there is no need to worry about point usage, and to have control over stage selection!
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
Skill points are banned!
Set up a Battle Room with your opponent, so that you can turn off point usage, and regulate stage selection.
You must check in half an hour before the tournament. Failure to do so will cause you to be dropped from the tournament.
If you are using an alt to participate, please contact me before check-ins begin, to let me know.
Bracket is not final until the tournament begins. Please wait to start your round 1 match until the bracket is final.
Sets are best of 3 matches. Top 8 (Quarters, Semis, Finals, Grands) will all be best out of 5 matches. During weeks with few people (less than 16), this may change to just top 4 being best of 5, instead of top 8.
Players may choose to switch characters mid set. A player may change his support or cheer set on a win or a lose. A player may only change their character on a loss.
You can either enter your match results here on the bracket, or PM "Gintrax" on the Pokken Community discord to report your match results.
All participants must be on the Pokken Community discord server (weekly-mems channel) to get in contact with your round partners.

You may not share a Switch to have multiple entrants under one system.
You must play all your matches to completion in order to receive a prize.
Registration & Setting up matches
Check-ins happen on the tournament page. Get in contact with your round opponents via the #weekly-mems channel in the Pokken Community discord (link above) to arrange a VS Code to use to set up your lobby. Failure to show up for a match within 10 minutes of round start will result in a DQ. Keep in mind that some players may get out of matches later than others. To report your set results, either enter your match results on the tournament page, or PM or "Gintrax" on the Pokken Community discord.
Due to the possibility of complaints about lagging during our weekly tourneys, we have implemented a report system in order to make the experience optimal for the largest number of participants possible.
To avoid false reports, our system will consist of a strike-based system, and we will ask that you contact the regular tourney organizer, Gintrax, or any other admins over in private.
For those who wish to flag someone, keep in mind that your lagging experience with your opponent needs to be severely impacting gameplay. We're talking about long input delays ( ~1 second or more ) or straight up freezes throughout the match. If it's only minor input lag, or a couple hiccups, please don't flag it. Keep it private and with the admins. Explain in a short sentence or two what happened during your match. This is to avoid unnecessary bandwaggoning on players.
If you were flagged too often for severe lag issues, you will be contacted by admins, and you will be required to go through a testing match or two. The results from this test match will allow the admin to make a final decision on your participation. Rest assured, the admins who do the testing will be certified to be players with a great history of lag-free matches.
We understand that not everyone has access to good internet providers, and we do not in any way put the blame on the players themselves - we only ask that you, the player, understand that if your connection is not up to par, your participation impacts others' experience negatively, and we simply cannot allow one bad connection to affect several players. There is and never will be personal bias in who gets to participate. If you have any feedback or suggestions about this rule, please don't hesitate to PM one of the admins, or talk about it in the #weekly-mems channel.
